after the camino is before the camino
this weekend marks the halfway point between concluding our family camino del norte and me commencing another solo camino in a little over a week.
so it is quite fitting that we went on our traditional half-yearly extended family hike - extended in terms of crowds participating, not so much the amount of kilometers walked.
it’s more like a walk and talk. catching up with nieces, nephews, their partners, updating everybody about what’s going on, and what’s not, and what not.
big plans for me. on this next camino i am planning to provide a daily report and photo update, documenting what i hope to be many fruitful interactions with other hikers and pilgrims in support of my charitable activities in ghana. free daily stamps, free portrait photographs available of anybody who is willing to get photographed by me on the camino - all i want is you(r) subscription to belo.friends so i can grow my community.
so, if you know anybody who is on the camino at the same time, please connect them with me, if you have people at home that would like to see daily photos and read my blog, forward my webpage and instagram handle. and so forth - you know what to do!
