bass, guitar, cello, no singing
i used to play the cello in my youth, then i played in bands with original and cover music and these days i like to reminisce about old times while playing a bit of jazz guitar, plus i am returning to write my own music
one of my compositions, recorded as part of a cd production - freecheese by orgifista
imagine a few young guys who are into music, but don’t know anything about the music business, don’t really know how to play their instruments, but still form a band.
founded by four friends in 1992, a drum kit without bass drum pedal, first beginnings of musical equipment, knowledge of 2-3 chords, then added another young misfit (me) in 1993, i didn’t know any additonal chords either, just about seven weeks before the first gig at a local rock festival, quickly written seven songs, band photographs, media kit and a small series of fan t-shirts, that’s how it all started.
this gig was recorded on vhs, somewhere someone still has it. we will continue to search for it!
the band orgifista, shortform for “original fidele Schießstandbuben” (the original, cheerful shooting range boys), existed from 1992 to 2003.
