taking a break

today’s report will be short. as was the walk from mansilla de las mulas to león. at least in terms of kilometers walked. i took my sweet while though and still arrived with this feeling that - after now 20 hiking days - this heavy tiredness is creeping into my bones and into my brain as well.

hence, i have made the decision to cut back a little, in terms of walking, talking, in terms of taking photographs, and in terms of writing.

it seems that my photos today are in agreement, with black & white dominating. i did take a few colour photos, but they are mostly over-exposed and i don’t like them too much (the sun was out all day). volker, you get a good b&w fix today!

so, i will ask all of you for a bit of patience, while i take a break over the next days. i promise, i’ll come back eventually. the colours also.
